- A permit is required for public concealed carry, with limited exceptions. Check the map before relying on an out-of-state permit.
- Open carry
- Open carry generally does not require a permit outside Philadelphia. Vehicle carry and carry in Philadelphia have licensing requirements.
- Police stops
- You do not generally have to announce that you are carrying. Produce the carry license on a lawful demand when carrying concealed or in a vehicle.
