- A permit is required for public concealed carry, with limited exceptions. Check the map before relying on an out-of-state permit.
- Open carry
- Open carry has location and local restrictions. A loaded handgun in a vehicle generally requires a valid concealed-pistol license.
- Police stops
- You do not generally have to announce that you are carrying. Carry the concealed-pistol license whenever required and display it on a police officer's demand or when otherwise required by law.
